My next door neighbor and his wife have just recently bought an RV to travel some while their new home is being built. It is the kind that you drive. If you are thinking about getting out on the road, travel trailers are generally more affordable, and some can still be spacious, especially fifth-wheel trailers, which require a truck with a special towing hitch. You can also detach your truck for simple transportation after you reach your destination. On the downside, you'll be giving up interior space while towing and remember that no passengers are allowed in a trailer in motion. Happy trails.
